Since we’ve moved into our house, which is pretty big for us, I’m feeling Scott Adams’ pain of not being able to find the cat. I’d like to build a networked RFID system that based in sensors in the house, closets, cabinets, etc. would know where he was ’seen’ last. So far, searching for RFID / home automation is getting me nowhere but confused. Any good resources out there on cheap networked RFID sensors? I’ve found a couple of places online talking about solutions that just might work, but somehow I doubt that they’ll work yet or be worth the price.
