TiVo does collect Anonymous Viewing Information; that is, information about viewing choices made while using your TiVo DVR, but that does not identify you as an individual or household. In other words, there is no personally identifiable information associated with your Anonymous Viewing Information that could identify the Anonymous Viewing Information as coming from you or your household.

If you affirmatively elect to engage in a commercial transaction such as by responding to an advertisement or promotion, TiVo will collect and disclose your Commerce Information (as defined below) to the commerce partner fulfilling the transaction. NOTE: If your TiVo DVR is receiving the TiVo Basic service, you may not be able to engage in commercial transactions from that TiVo DVR.
